Baby, are you down?

Even if the sky is falling down?

Mom & dad,

Though i've made hurtful choices,
You silently watched me from behind.
Now that i no longer have a child's understanding,
I realise the meaning of your silent prayers.
Your constant nags seem annoying some times,
but lately they've been feeling different.
I realise how nonchalant i was.
Despite everything i've made you worry about,
you have always been following me along my footsteps.
When i was a child, you walked in front of me, leading me.
When i reached my cynical teenage life,
you stood beside me, side by side, sharing my burdens.
You've been there for me.
I'll become a person with a pretty heart,
someone who is selfless and kind.
So that i will be able to reciprocate whatever you've done for me.
I'll protect your expectations.
I don't want to lack anymore.
Thank you for whatever you've gone through for me.
I will always think of my mother who used to brush my hair,
and my father who used to teach me the best things about the world.

I love you mom and dad.
